Through a comparative lens, you will gain an in-depth understanding of British pedagogy in secondary education and be inspired to be reflective and creative in your own teaching practice. This course features case studies based on reflective discussions.

A standard two-week course consists of five components.

  • Education systems: introduction to the British education system, followed by a comparative study of local education systems.
  • General learning theories: introduction to a series of theories used to rationalise contemporary classroom teaching and learning.
