Graduation is a special time and in addition to the short reception at the University, many graduates and their families choose to go out for lunch or dinner afterwards. Reading has many excellent restaurants in the area ranging in price. We recommend you search online in advance and to make a booking.
Accommodation in Reading and the surrounding area
You and your guests may wish to stay overnight before or after your Graduation day. We recommend you book as early as possible once you know the date of your ceremony.

Stay on the University Campus for Summer Graduation
Enjoy a last night in halls or stay for the first time for Summer 2026 Graduation with premium ensuite accommodation is available to book between Tuesday 21 July 2026 and Friday 31 July 2026.
Why not return to halls for your Graduation or re-live your own student life as a parent or supporter or experience the student life for the first time whilst attending Summer Graduation.
