Areas of interest

I am interested in the following research areas:

  • Data Science for Healthcare (Quality Improvement)
  • Machine Learning
  • Biostatistics
  • Operational Research

Example journal articles:

As part of my research, I collaborate with NHS, charities, local authorities, and industry.

I have also research experience in Adult Social Care and in Computer Vision Geometry.

Postgraduate supervision

I supervise PhD students who develop data science and machine learning methodology that can be applied in case studies to improve health and its determinants. New applicants are required to have a solid background in Computer Science and interest in developing methods for health services research or related areas.

I am offering a PhD with AI Intervene that is about automatic data warehousing to improve a biodiversity database. Therefore, the topic is not about health research (my previous statement) but about a possible determinant of health (biodiversity).
