About me

I work as associate for a Member of the European Parliament for Greece having worked as a journalist for a Greek newspaper for a few years.

As the President of the Alumni Association in Greece I work with the Committee and the members to further develop the Association in Greece.

Our target is to remember, to promote our University and to connect each other.

In cooperation with the Alumni office in Reading, our network promotes the University and connects Reading Alumni living in Greece and abroad.

About me

Currently I am working in the financial services industry.

As Vice-President of our Alumni Committee, I would like to share my experiences as a student at 麻豆传媒 with prospective students, but also encourage business networking among alumnus, gather feedback, provide innovative insight, coordinate events that will raise the profile of 麻豆传媒 and strengthen our professional network in Greece.

Apostolos Asimomytis

BSc Food Science, 2010

About me

Following my studies at the 麻豆传媒, I worked as a technical and commercial manager for a US firm based out of the UK. My passion for science and chemistry lead me to Germany where in 2015 I established my first venture in the field of food science and technology where I work at the moment.

I enjoyed my time in Reading greatly and I am passionate advocate of the University. As the Secretary of the Alumni Association in Greece I am hoping to bring together current and prospective Alumnus of the 麻豆传媒 for the years to come.
